Kalyskah is an adult dark fantasy RPG with immersive elements where you play Kalyskah Karnstein, the first vampire.
​As a Game Writer and Narrative Designer, I had a hand in nearly everything. I was responsible for not only interacting and managing the writing team but also executing the game developer’s visions and communicating with the many other branches of the company. On top of that, my main responsibility was writing interactive storylines, quests, dialogue, locations, characters, lore, and heavy world-building.​

As a long-time and flexible member of the team since 2018, I helped wherever I could, so I also have done some voice acting, written songs (and recorded demos), inputted dialogue into Unreal, split audio files, and created art for the game.

Story Roadmap &
Prologue
My day-to-day workload with Kalyskah is to write quests, be they main or side, and dialogue between characters I created. Here is a video of a scene from a quest I have written for the prologue section of the game.
Quests, Characters, & Dialogue
Here is a demo I recorded and wrote for bards to sing within the game. The song is a reference to "The Great Fall", an old, cataclysmic event that set humanity back thousands of years in the game.​
For voice acting, I have voiced a few NPCs.
Voice Acting & Songs
The less glamorous but equally important part of my role includes making simple quest guides, reviewing/editing public announcement posts for our supporters, describing each with full detail each location in a document for the level designers to follow, and other duties like combing through the game for typos that might occur when the dialogue gets put in the game.
