SMOG is a 2D-pixel survival horror game set in 1870s Victorian London. Reginald Wilton, a factory owner with something to hide, is inexorably haunted by hordes of smog-like monsters. As his sanity continues to slip, he teeters towards succumbing to their wrath. He now only has one goal: to escape from it all— starting with his own factory.

My role as Senior Writer required me to lead the writing team with meetings, tasks, and check-ins. I created all story documents and led the design of the narrative on top of writing my own content for the game. I also ensure cohesion of the story between disciplines, providing feedback within and outside of my own department.

This game was created by Studio1870 for the GAM236 class at USV and is currently under development.
StoryLoom is an online platform for interactive fiction created by Pixelberry Studios. I worked with the Sr. Creative Director, Chief Creative Officer, Director of Writing, and other writing interns on the StoryLoom R&D Team where we launched Season of Love, a Regency-themed world and IP. I also aided in the launch of the Open Heart Shared World alongside the other interns.
Besides writing my own stories, I also heavily assisted in the documentation and community content such as blogs, marketing videos, and live events via Discord by hosting or moderating, along with many other things.

My Stories

My major responsibility during this internship was creating and publishing my own interactive Loom Books, A Spinster's Guide to Marriage within the Season of Love Shared World, a Pixelberry IP, and The Brat and the Bodyguard. My story was one of four official books that launched the IP.
